The present invention relates to a grinding aid composition used in a process of grinding a cement clinker. According to the present invention, a grinding aid is a phosphorous-based compound. More particularly, an alkyl phosphate compound is used as a grinding aid. Particularly, a tributyl phosphate compound can be used as a grinding aid. According to the present invention, an alkyl phosphate compound only or a mixture of the alkyl phosphate compound can be used for the grinding aid composition. Also, an aqueous glycols and an ethylene amine-based compound can be added. The grinding aid of the present invention increases long term compression strength of cement, and reduces energy consumption while improving particle fineness by preventing coagulation of particles during a clinker grinding process.
