Disclosed is a mixed navigation system using GPS and a speculative navigation method which improves the robustness of positioning by compensating discontinuity of GPS reception data, and a method thereof. The combined navigation system using the speculative navigation method and the GPS according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a GPS receiving unit for receiving GPS data; A speculative navigation unit that generates speculative navigation information using the wheel speed, the steering angle, and the yaw rate; A buffer unit for storing the speculative navigation information; A filter unit for generating positioning information of the moving object by using at least one of the output information of the GPS receiving unit and the speculative navigation information stored in the buffer unit;
