According to the present invention, the refining equipment comprises: an impeller which has a plurality of blades concentrically placed capable of rising, falling, and rotating, and which settles in molten iron accommodated in a container to rotate and stir the molten iron; a rotation driving unit connected to the impeller which rotates the impeller; an elevating/lowering driving unit connected to the impeller which elevates and lowers the impeller; and a rotation control unit which determines a revolution count of the impeller using the volume of the molten iron between a blade and another blade in accordance with a degree of abrasion of the impeller to allow the molten iron discharge quantity per hour where the molten iron is pushed from between the blade and the other blade to the outside of the impeller to be included in a standard molten iron discharge quantity range per hour, and which rotates the impeller by controlling the rotation driving unit in accordance with the determined revolution count. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the present invention is able to perform refining in a stable manner; prevent a defect from occurring due to desulfurization; reduce production loss due to re-treatment; and cuts down on desulfurization agent.
