METHOD FOR AVOIDING FALSE ALARM USING COMPARISON OF EARTHQUAKE EARLY WARNING PARAMETER AND SYSTEM THEREOF

The present invention relates to a method to avoid an incorrect early earthquake alarm through cross verification of a field earthquake occurrence event and a system thereof, where the cross verification of an earthquake occurrence event generated in a scene is performed to correctly determine occurrence of an earthquake, so as to improve correctness of the early earthquake alarm. According to the present invention, the method comprises: a first step of receiving an earthquake detection signal from one of multiple earthquake observatories; a second step of applying a first seismic wave detection method to the received detection signal to determine a first epicenter position; a third step of applying a second seismic wave detection method to the received detection signal to determine a second epicenter position; a fourth step of calculating a distance difference between the first and the second epicenter position to calculate an epicenter distance difference; and a fifth step of comparing the epicenter distance difference calculated in the fourth step with a set threshold to generate an early earthquake alarm signal when the epicenter distance difference is the set threshold or less.
