The present invention relates to a building seismic reinforcement method using a buckling restrained brace, which comprises: a first step of generating arbitrary alpha reinforcement plans for a building according to fundamental conditions; a second step of extracting data by analyzing the structure and aging of the building according to the alpha reinforcement plans; a third step of arranging the alpha reinforcement plans according to constraint conditions based on the data; a fourth step of generating evolved beta reinforcement plans based on the alpha reinforcement plans; and a fifth step of replacing the beta reinforcement plans with the alpha reinforcement plans until the beta reinforcement plans are selected as formal reinforcement plans satisfying the set final conditions. Accordingly, the method of the present invention can automatically derive a reasonable reinforcement plan which can satisfy seismic performance required for the building while minimizing man-hours required for reinforcement.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017
