The present invention relates to a GIS-based CCTV control system. The GIS-based CCTV control system comprises: a plurality of first, second, and third CCTV cameras (100, 100, 100) which are installed on a monitored region and automatically generate an event signal when an event occurs; a GIS database (200) in which CCTV location data (210), including longitude and latitude coordinate information regarding locations at which the plurality of first, second, and third CCTV cameras (100, 100, 100) are installed, and GIS map data (220), including longitude and latitude coordinate information regarding locations of geographic features and administrative area boundaries, have been stored in a form of an electronic map; a control server (300) which controls the plurality of first, second, and third CCTV cameras (100, 100, 100) on the electronic map; and a wired and/or wireless communication network (400) which connects the plurality of first, second, and third CCTV cameras (100, 100, 100), the GIS database (200), and the control server (300).
