The present invention relates to a device and a method to estimate an ultrasonic absolute nonlinear parameter using an ultrasonic relative nonlinear parameter of dissimilar materials and, more specifically, relates to a device to estimate an ultrasonic absolute nonlinear parameter using the ultrasonic relative nonlinear parameter of dissimilar materials, comprising: an ultrasonic transmission unit which transmits an ultrasonic signal into a standard sample and an object to be tested; an ultrasonic reception unit which receives each ultrasonic signals reflected or transmitted from the inside of the standard sample and the object to be tested; a signal processing unit which measures the relative nonlinear parameter of the standard sample and the object to be tested using the received ultrasonic signals; a calibration unit which measures a wave number calibration coefficient and a proportional coefficient of the standard sample and the object to be tested; and an absolute nonlinear parameter estimation unit which estimates the absolute nonlinear parameter of the object to be tested based on the relative nonlinear parameter, the absolute nonlinear parameter of the standard sample, the wave number calibration coefficient, and the proportional coefficient, and a method thereof. The standard sample and object to be tested are made from dissimilar materials. The present invention aims to provide a device and method to estimate absolute nonlinear parameter from the result of measuring a relative nonlinear parameter by securing a correlation between two parameters on different physical dimensions.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017
