The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for issuing an attention alert for a vehicle. According to the present invention, the apparatus for issuing an attention alert for a vehicle includes: a determiner determining at least a part of a plurality of warning areas within a front image, as a warning area of interest; a measurer measuring a distance and an angle of a target vehicle based on a vehicle through a radar; and a processor issuing an attention alert for the target vehicle when location information identified by the distance and the angle corresponds to the same lane with the vehicle, if it is detected that the target vehicle enters the warning area of interest.
