The present invention relates to a highly elastic polyester composite yarn using a latent-crimp yarn as a core and antibacterial polyester yarn as a sheath. The present invention further relates to a production method thereof. More specifically, the present invention relates to highly elastic antibacterial polyester composite yarn, which ensures cost-competitiveness, excellent textures, antibacterial functions, and high elasticity, by using a polytrimethylene terephthalate (PTT)/poly(ethelyene terephthalate) (PET) latent-crimp yarn as a core and an antibacterial polyester yarn as a sheath. The present invention further relates to a method for producing a fabric using the same.
