Described herein are methods and systems for fractionating and liquefying natural gas feed streams. Natural gas is first classified in the rectifier column. The top vapor from the rectification column is cooled, condensed, and divided to form a liquefied first stream, a second stream, and at least one additional stream of the first top vapor. The liquefied first stream of the first top vapor is returned to the rectification column as a reflux stream. The liquefied second stream of the first top vapor forms an LNG product. The liquefied additional stream of the first top vapor is used to provide or produce reflux for a de-methanizer column used to fractionate the bottom liquid from the rectification column.
