The present invention relates to a method for predicting the prognosis of cancer, a gene for predicting the prognosis of a selected cancer, and a kit for predicting metastasis of a breast cancer patient using the gene. The present invention can be used to diagnose a prognosis which can reduce unnecessary cancer treatment by predicting the prognosis of a patient with high reliability through a simple method by analyzing the genetic characteristic of early breast cancer.
