The present invention relates to an apparatus for generating an inverse synthetic aperture radar image using Tsallis entropy and an autofocusing method using the same. The autofocusing method for an inverse synthetic aperture radar image comprises the steps of: receiving a reflected radar signal from a moving target; generating range profiles which are one-dimensional radar images using the reflected radar signal; performing range alignment to align the centers of the generated range profiles to meet; computing Tsallis entropy of the range-aligned range profiles; computing the remaining phase error of the traverse range profiles at which the calculated Tsallis entropy is minimized; and generating an inverse synthetic aperture radar image from which the phase error is removed by using the computed phase error and the range-aligned range profiles. According to the present invention, as described above, it is possible not only to generate a high-quality inverse synthetic aperture radar image excellent in entropy, contrast and global quality index even if the image is large or a signal-to-noise ratio is small but also to greatly improve an operation speed for generating the image.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017
