The present invention relates to a self-learning engine system and method using a pattern analysis of atypical data. When atypical data is received through a receiving unit, only a frequent item set with respect to corresponding data is found, and a new pattern is generated through related rule calculation and is stored in a learning pattern set storing unit. Even when any kind of data is received, a pattern can be generated, and self-learning is possible by using the same. According to the present invention, when atypical data is received, a new pattern with respect to corresponding data is generated and stored. Thus, even when a new kind of data which has not been conventionally defined is received, a pattern can be generated and self-learning and controlling are possible by using the same.
