The present invention relates to a functional homemade dog snack using a red ginseng bark and a Citrus maxima seed extract and to a manufacturing method thereof, and more particularly, comprises the following steps: (1) preparing a homemade snack material and a functional mixture; (2) cutting and trimming the homemade snack material; (3) immersing the homemade snack material into a mixture containing 5 wt% of an organic apple cider vinegar based on 100 wt% of purified water to remove a bad smell and foreign substances; (4) immersing the homemade snack material into the purified water to remove blood; (5) immersing the homemade snack material into a functional mixture for aging of the same; (6) firstly drying the homemade snack material; (7) secondarily drying the homemade snack material; and (8) vacuum packaging the homemade snack material. Accordingly, it is possible to increase the storage and distribution properties of the homemade dog snack, and to provide a snack for increasing immunity.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017
