The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for adjusting a side mirror of a vehicle using a vehicle state. More specifically, the present invention comprises: a sensing unit for sensing head position information and head motion information of a driver; a vehicle signal obtaining unit for obtaining a vehicle signal including a vehicle gear, a turn signal lamp, and a vehicle speed; and a control unit for checking one of vehicle states among backing, driving, and a turn signal, and the vehicle speed from the obtained vehicle signal, and adjusting an angle of left side and right side mirrors based on the checked vehicle state, the checked vehicle speed, the sensed head position information, and the sensed head motion information.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017
