The present invention relates to a catalyst for vacuum residue steam catalytic cracking comprising nickel, potassium, ceria zirconia and alumina.When the catalyst according to the present invention is subjected to vapor catalytic cracking of reduced pressure residues, the yield and conversion rate of the produced liquid are significantly improved compared with the conventional alumina-based catalyst, and the quality of the product can be improved by including ceria zirconia .;
