Guarded hot plate apparatus and manufacturing method thereof

The present invention relates to a hot plate used in a guarded hot plate method of measuring and evaluating thermal conductivity of a solid sample; and a method of manufacturing the same. According to the present invention, the hot plate comprises: a main plate including a pair of first and second main plates having a predetermined shape, and a heating portion heat line and a guard portion heat line positioned between the pair of first and second main plates; an upper cooling plate located on an upper portion of the main plate; and a lower cooling plate located on a lower portion of the main plate. A heat flow blocking gap and a ceramic key accommodation groove are formed on the first and second main plates to block a heat transfer between a heating portion and a guard portion. As a ceramic key is accommodated in the ceramic key accommodation groove, the heat flow between the heating portion and the guard portion is able to completely be blocked. Moreover, the present invention may lead to excellent durability and simple manufacturing.
