The present invention relates to an alignment method of LD and single mode optical cable and an optical communication module manufacturing method of an array type using the method, which can reduce manufacturing cost and enables miniaturization and mass production. More specifically, the present invention comprises: a single mode optical cable manufacturing step of manufacturing a single mode optical cable (10) by forming a waveguide inside the optical cable in a taper shape by diffusing the end part of the single mode optical cable at high temperature or connecting the single mode optical cable with multimode optical cable in the way of thermal treatment or discharge; a V-groove manufacturing step of manufacturing a V-groove having a V shape so that the single mode optical cable manufactured in the single mode optical cable manufacturing step is fixated; a combining step of combining the end part of the single mode optical cable with the V groove transversely; and an aligning step of aligning the waveguide of the single mode optical cable combined with the V-groove and the signal light emitting area of LD settled on a substrate.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2017
