The present invention relates to a method for providing a translation to a user, a user terminal, a server, and a computer program. More particularly, a method of providing a source text and a translation thereof in a user terminal, includes: a step of allowing a user terminal to receive an original text from a user; a step of allowing the user terminal to present emoticons classified by a plurality of emotion categories and to receive emoticons from the user; and a step of allowing the user terminal to provide the selected emoticons together with the original text and a translation thereof.
