The present invention relates to a method for providing a translation to a user, a user terminal, a server and a computer program and, more particularly, discloses a method for providing an original text and a translation thereof in a user terminal, the method being characterized by including: a step in which the user terminal receives an input of an original text from a user; an emoticon suggesting and selecting step in which the user terminal suggests a plurality of emoticons classified into emotion categories and receives a selection of an emoticon from the user; and a step in which the user terminal provides the selected emoticon together with the original text and a translation thereof.
