The present invention relates to a personal identification method through face comparison which is implemented in a personal identification system comprising a photographing unit, a control unit connected to the photographing unit, and a storage unit for storing a personal identification program and an identification image composed of a plurality of frames photographed by the photographing unit by being connected to the control unit and includes a personal identification step for comparison with data registered in a database. The personal identification step includes a facial feature vector extraction step of extracting a facial feature vector of a frame constituting the identification image and a step of calculating a Euclidean distance of the facial feature vector of the data registered in the data base and the facial feature vector extracted in the facial feature vector extraction step. Calculated similarity is provided as information for identifying an individual who is photographed.
