The present invention relates to vaccines derived against porcine pleural pneumonia, including lipopolysaccharides, wherein the vaccine comprises a polychromine to reduce the symptoms of endotoxic shock caused by the lipopolysaccharide. The invention also relates to a method of obtaining such a vaccine and a method of administering the vaccine to a subject animal.
