The present invention provides a composition for preparing a carbon molecular sieve separator comprising a fluorine-containing polymer matrix and polysilsesquioxane. The composition exhibits high selectivity and separation performance according to the target gas to be separated through controlling the mixing ratio of the fluorine-containing polymer matrix and polysilsesquioxane. Therefore, it is possible to effectively separate gases having a small difference in particle size, which was difficult to separate using conventional polymer membranes.
