The present invention relates to an arc generation comparing apparatus for education, which helps with understanding and education of different arc generation depending on power sources. One embodiment of the present invention provides an arc generation comparing apparatus for education, which comprises: an alternating current (AC) arc generation unit having a first electrode portion including a first load, a second electrode portion disposed to face the first electrode portion and having a second load, an AC power portion applying first AC power to the first electrode portion and the second electrode portion, and a first camera portion for photographing an AC arc generated by the first AC power between the first electrode portion and the second electrode portion to produce a first image signal; a direct current (DC) arc generation unit having a third electrode portion including a third load, a fourth electrode portion disposed to face the third electrode portion and having a fourth load, a DC power portion applying DC power to the third electrode portion and the fourth electrode portion, and a second camera portion for photographing a DC arc generated by the DC power between the third electrode portion and the fourth electrode portion to produce a second image signal; and a display unit receiving the first and the second image signal to display the first and the second image signal outside.
