The present invention relates to a method of improving wear resistance of a nitride coating film with high heat resistance and high hardness, a coating film, and a cutting tool having the same. The method of improving wear resistance of a nitride coating film with high heat resistance and high hardness comprises: a step of forming a metal nitride layer in which a metal base material includes titanium (Ti) and at least one of zirconium (Zr) and chromium (Cr); a step of forming a carbon layer by coating a carbon paste including a carbon material, a binder, and a solvent in the metal nitride layer; and a step of forming a carburizing layer added with carbon of a carbon layer on the metal nitride layer by irradiating laser on the carbon layer.
