The present invention relates to a composition for inhibiting angiogenesis, which comprises chimeric protein of aflibercept-collagen type II peptide as an active ingredient, in which it was confirmed that the chimeric protein fused with the collagen type II peptide at the end of aflibercept C was significantly effective in inhibiting the choroidal neovascularization as compared with a positive control group. Therefore, the chimeric protein is expected to be useful for the treatment of ocular neovascular diseases, especially macular degeneration diseases.
