The present invention relates to SNP markers of an IGFBP gene for prediction of pig litter size, and a method for selecting fecund pigs using the same, and more specifically, to SNP markers of a litter size-related IGFBP gene for prediction of pig litter size and early selection of fecund pigs, to a composition, a microarray, and a kit for prediction of pig litter size using the same, and to a method for early selection of fecund pigs. Since the SNPs provided by the present invention show a high correlation with the litter size, when the SNP markers of the present invention is used, there is an advantage of predicting the litter size of pigs in early time by genetic testing. Therefore, the present invention is highly valuable for early selection of fecund breeding pigs and improvement of species.
