1. The method of formation of a droplet-free ion flow during electrospray of the analyzed solutions in ion sources with atmospheric pressure, based on the formation of the meniscus of the analyzed liquid in an inhomogeneous constant electric field with the emission of charged particles from the top of the meniscus, while the unsprayed eluent is removed from the spraying area by countercurrent ambient gas through coaxial channel under normal conditions, characterized in that the counter electrode in the initial state is closed by a continuous controlled sliding backward using a conductive material electrically connected to the counter electrode, and the gas flow pumped through the coaxial channel is set before the electrospray process starts, more than is necessary to obtain a stable drop-free ion flow. 2. The method according to claim 1, characterized in that the meniscus is oriented at an angle to the horizontal plane on the axis of entry into the ion analyzer.
