FIELD: chemistry.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for producing benzocyclobutene. Composite compounds of quaternary ammonium salts of 2-methylbenzyl-(trialkyl) ammonium chlorides and hydroquinone or merhylhydroquinone as polymerization inhibitors were used as raw materials in aqueous solutions.
