The utility model refers to laboratory facilities for studying the deformation of droplets in a stream. The apparatus includes a device for producing droplets, a system for supplying a blowing air stream and a pitot tube for measuring airflow velocity. The device for obtaining drops is made in the form of a vertical dropper with a capillary with the possibility of forming a fixed drop. The airflow supply system comprises a microcompressor connected by a pipeline through a control valve with a cylindrical nozzle mounted coaxially with a dropper. The pitot tube is located in the outlet section of the nozzle. The diameter of the dropper capillary and the distance between the cutoff of the capillary of the dropper and the outlet section of the branch pipe are determined by algebraic formulas. An increase in the efficiency of the device and the informative nature of the research are achieved.
