Device comprises a substrate having a textured surface having an anisotropic three-dimensional structure for contact with cells. Said structure consists of alternating projections on textured surface with formation of uniform repeating structure with gaps between projections. Projections have a size smaller than cells, wherein projections are inclined relative to perpendicular to plane formed by textured surface, in a direction specified by anisotropic structure. Method involves preparation of a silicone mould using optical lithography with automatic matching, wherein said mould is a negative copy of a three-dimensional structure, moulding material making up three-dimensional structure, and disconnection of silicone shape.
