FIELD: machine building.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, namely, to polymer composite materials shells winding technology, and can be used for production of solid-propellant rocket engines (SPRE) bodies. Mandrel for polymer composite materials shells winding on premade heat-resistant coating, fastened with flange and frame comprises on shaft double housing with shaping surfaces, shells removing mechanisms. In mandrel central part annular groove is made, arranged two rings fixing thermal-protective coating frames, in which holes with spring-loaded screws are made, screwed in into mandrel housing. Each ring is equipped with collar, interacting with thermal-protective coating frame end. Recess is closed by insulating layer. Mechanisms to remove shells are installed on covering mandrel shaft cylindrical sections external surface, made on mandrel housing sides. Each mechanism comprises thermal-protective coating flange holder, equipped with slot, interacting with key, rigidly attached to mandrel housing cylindrical section surface. Flange holder is attached to heat shielding coating flange through centering ring. Enveloping clamping ring is installed on holder.
