FIELD: information technologies.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for navigation and orientation in space and can be used for determining of direction to geographic North. Device for determining direction to geographic North contains angular motions molecular-electronic sensor, installed on platform capable to rotate with angular speed, variable by sign and absolute value, wherein device comprises sensor, measuring platform angular rotation velocity relative to fixed base, and controller, controlling platform rotation and performing combined processing of molecular-electronic angular motion sensor data and sensor, measuring platform angular rotation velocity relative to fixed base.;EFFECT: technical result is higher accuracy of determining direction to geographic North, higher measurements accuracy.;5 cl, 4 dwg
