FIELD: electricity.;SUBSTANCE: shield is made in the form of piece of wire, bar, tube or rod and consists of a part (1) in the form of a round-shaped spiral coil of (1÷20) turns and part (2) in the form of a spiral with turn number of (2÷20), rigidly fixed on a linear spiral reinforcement, such as a spiral protector (3), mounted on the self-carrying nonmetallic optical cable (4). The end (5) of the spiral protector (4) is located inside the round spiral coil (1) and reaches its transverse axis (6), which divides the coil approximately in half.;EFFECT: possibility allows to hold the initial corona voltage within 30÷45 kV, which provides restriction of corona discharges to the permissible level of radio interference and reduce the risk for the self-carrying non-metallic optical cable itself in terms of reducing the probability of destruction of its insulating protective shell.;10 cl, 1 dwg
