METHOD OF PERSONALIZED INTRA-ARTERIAL CHEMOTHERAPEUTIC AGENT INFUSION DURING TREATMENT OF SQUAMOUS CELL CARCINOMA OF HEAD AND NECK

Platinum drug is administered at a rate equal to or exceeding the volumetric blood flow rate by max. 16.7%. The administered drug volume is calculated from the ratio of 75-100 mg/m² of the patient body surface area. Then, 5-fluorouracil is administered in the same vessel, at an infusion rate equal to or exceeding the vessel volumetric blood flow rate by max. 16.7% in a volume of 250 ml.;EFFECT: method can reduce the severity of toxic reactions to chemotherapy, eliminate complications and deaths related to the treatment itself, eliminate the pathological changes in kidney function and improve the overall one-year survival rates to 94 percent.
