FIELD: agriculture.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agricultural machinery industry. The self-propelled unit for cleaning waters from blue-green algae comprises pontoon, screw and solar batteries mounted on the pontoon body. On the pontoon a drum is rotatably mounted, having buckets- scoops that remove algae from water and act as paddles of the paddle wheel to move the pontoon. Inside the drum there is a screw to feed the algae in a container for collection and storage.;EFFECT: self-propelled functionally-independent unit for cleaning waters, which uses energy of solar batteries to drive the assemblies and mechanisms that provide movement of the pontoon and the operation of the unit in stand-alone mode.;1 dwg
