FIELD: medicine.;SUBSTANCE: invention relates to non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs application in excimer laser corneal surgery. Stroma ablation is performed after de-epithelized cornea staining with 0.1-1.0% isotonic solution of rose bengal with additional postoperative corneal UV protection by means of sunglasses. This creates a shielding effect for secondary transformed UV radiation (emerging during ablation) penetration in the deeper layers adjacent to the ablation zone.
