FIELD: metallurgy.;SUBSTANCE: tubular adapter titanium part is telescopically coupled with disposed outside of it tubular adapter part of stainless steel, on the inner surface of which circular grooves are made not more than 0.5 mm. Before welding, the said circular grooves are filled with a slurry of polyvinyl butyral and ultrafine nickel powder. The ultrafine nickel powder content in the slurry is from 61 to 80%. Diffusion welding is carried out at the temperature of 700-764°C. The holding time is not more than 1 min.;EFFECT: method reduces the amount of plastic deformation of the tubular adapter titanium part and reduces the amount of brittle intermetallic phases in the diffusion joint.;1 ex
