FIELD: metallurgy.;SUBSTANCE: titanium-containing charge for titanium tetrachloride production comprises titanium slag, carbon containing material, sodium chloride, powdered moulded mixture of carbon residues obtained from gas cleaning filters by drying and transportation of carbon containing material, residues obtained from gas fine cleaning filters of titanium slag production and a binder. Charge preparation method includes separate crushing of titanium slag, sodium chloride and carbon containing material, and their mixing. Powdered moulded mixture is prepared from carbon residues obtained from gas cleaning filters by drying and transportation of carbon containing material, dust residues obtained from gas fine cleaning filters of titanium slag production and a binder, wherein the said dust residues are loaded into a container mentioned, and then the said carbon residues and a liquid binder are simultaneously supplied to their and stirred to obtain a pasty mixture which is moulded, dried and powdered, the obtained moulded powdered mixture is mixed with titanium slag and sodium chloride, carbon containing material is loaded and stirred to obtain a titanium-containing charge.;EFFECT: reduced costs for titanium tetrachloride production.;12 cl, 5 ex
