FIELD: chemistry.;SUBSTANCE: proposed invention relates to a method for preparation of 3-(o,m,p-fluorophenyl)-7-methyl-3,4-dihydro-2H-benzo[f][1,5,3]dithiazepines, which can be used as selective ligands, for extraction and separation of metal cations, interphase catalysts modeling enzymatic activity. The essence of the method consists in the interaction of N,N-bis(methoxymethyl)-N-(o,m,p-fluorophenyl)amines with 3,4-dimercaptotoluidine in the presence of the samaric nitrate crystallohydrate catalyst Sm(NO3)3*6H2O, taken in the molar ratio of N,N-bis(methoxymethyl)-N-(o,m,p-halophenyl)amine:3,4-dimercaptotoluidine:Sm(NO3)3*6H2O = 1:1:0.05, at a room temperature (~ 20°C) and atmospheric pressure in ethyl acetate as solvent for 6-8 hours. The yield of the corresponding 3-(o,m,p-fluorophenyl)-7-methyl-3,4-dihydro-2H-benzo[f ][1,5,3]dithiazepines of the general formula is 80-94%.;EFFECT: new compounds of general formula 1 are obtained.;1 tbl
