The present invention relates to a battery powered tool 100 having a tool body 102 and a battery block 104. The tool body 102 is provided with a receiving opening adapted to receive the battery pack 104. The battery pack 104 includes a housing 200 and a handle 202 that is configured to be movable relative to the housing 200 between a recessed position in which the handle 202 is inserted into the housing 200 and a protruding position which the handle 202 is pulled so that it protrudes out of the housing 200 out. Furthermore, the battery pack 104 also includes an elastic member 300 provided in the housing 200. The elastic member 300 is configured to lock the battery pack 104 to the tool body 102 when the handle 202 is in the retracted position.
