A passenger conveyor lifting device lifts a unit 1 comprising a frame body 2 forming at least a longitudinal part of a main frame of a passenger conveyor and a unit device 3 held by the frame body 2. The lift device includes a lift attachment member 12 and a hoist rope 13. The lift attachment member 12 includes a pair of attachment pedestals 121 removably attached to respective top surfaces of a pair of side frame sections 4 respectively forming widthwise end portions of the frame body 2, and includes a reinforcement member 122 that connects the pair of attachment pedestals 121 above the unit device 3 located between the pair of side frame sections 4. The hoist rope 13 raises the unit 1 while being hung on the respective side frame sections 4.
