The present invention relates to a process as well as a device for the production of a reinforcing structure (1) and component (2). The method has the following steps:– Generating a structure made from a starting material by means of a structure generation in front of the direction, wherein the starting material can be converted into a reinforcing material;– Converting the starting material into a reinforcing material by means of a conversion device, wherein, as a result, a reinforcing structure (1) is generated; and– Impregnation of the reinforcing structure (1) with a matrix material (3) by means of an impregnating apparatus.Furthermore, the invention relates to a component has a reinforcing structure.
