The present invention relates to a particle filter (7) for an exhaust gas aftertreatment system (1) of an internal combustion engine (2), in particular of a motor vehicle, comprising a filter (9), of the several flow channels (10) with porous channel walls (12) through which a flow of exhaust gas of the internal combustion engine (2) can be passed, wherein at least some of the channel walls (12) are designed to be closed on one side and with at least some of the channel walls (12), in particular all of the channel walls (12) of the flow channels (10) with an oxidative catalytic material or with a reducing catalytic material are coated, and wherein at least some of the flow channels (10 ‘ ‘) are formed open on both sides.
