Improved accelerator tube and cutterhead housing mount for a hydraulic cutting system

Device for a hydraulic cutting system with a pump that drives solid food products suspended in a working fluid through a knife. An elongate housing is disposed in a frame and longitudinally movable relative thereto. The housing has at least one fixed means which is connected to an upstream ring and extends to a downstream ring. A substantially flexible conical tube is disposed within the housing and substantially coaxial therewith. At least a first portion of the housing is movable relative to a second portion of the housing from a closed position in which the conical tube is held in the housing to an open position in which the conical tube can be removed from the housing.
