The invention relates to a prefabricated remedial handrail panel 7a for straight staircases comprising an upper guide bar 8a and a lower guide bar 9a and at least one railing bar 10a for connecting the upper guide bar 8a with the lower guide bar 9a. In order to enable a simple and rapid adaptation and integration of the redevelopment railing field into an existing stair railing to be renovated, the upper guide rail 8a has a recess 11a passing through it, in which the railing bar 10a can be displaceably mounted.
