The device has assembling units i.e. joggles, assembling monolithic side walls (3) of a columbarium and engaged with the respective walls. The assembling units have a set of corner strips (7, 8) supported against the monolithic side walls and a set of cooperating fixation elements e.g. screw (12) and threaded recess (13), that fixes the corner strips with one another. One of the corner strips has a positioning unit i.e. pad (14), that positions the monolithic side walls with respect to one another. An independent claim is also included for a columbarium comprising monolithic walls.
