The present invention relates to a sighting device (10) intended to equip a computer system. The sighting device (10) is designed to be operated by the hand (11) of an operator. The sighting device (10) comprises a body (12) designed to be fixed on a work station and a set of sensors delivering information of the relative position of a movable part (13) with respect to the body (12). According to the invention, the sighting device (10) also comprises means for modifying the information delivered by the set of sensors in order to take account of a relative position of the operator with respect to the fixed body (12).
