The distributed acoustic sensors obtain acoustic signal measurements as a function of the position along the duct in response to at least one acoustic signal emission by the controlled acoustic source. The system also includes a processing unit that generates a graph or report of acoustic activity based on acoustic signal measurements. The acoustic activity report or graph is used to identify at least one acoustic impedance limit anomaly as a function of a position along the conduit.
