摘要
The subject of the present invention is an addressing mode and a principle of producing image display matrix screens, the pixels of this screen being constituted by C subpixels or subpixel groups such that: Fx of subpixels or group of subpixels of the screen, where 1 ≤ X ≤ C, is subdivided into NC disjoint groups constituting NC 2 subpixel groups GX, Y, Z, where N ≥ 1, 1 ≤ Y ≤ C and 1 ≤ Z ≤ N, all the sub pixels of the group GX, Y, Z belonging to the same family Fx, and each group being associated with a common selection means SX, Y, Z. The groups GX, Y, Z are selected and displayed sequentially during NC consecutive sub-frames, the C groups G1, Y, Z, G2, Y, Z ... GC, Y, Z being simultaneously selected, by means of S1, Y, Z, S2, Y, Z ... SC, Y, Z, and displayed during the subfield TY, Z. - Each subset of N pixels of the screen, consisting of NC subpixels belonging to NC groups GX, Y, Z such that 1 ≤ Y ≤ C and 1 ≤ Z ≤ N, is associated with a separate control means for independently controlling the state of any subpixel belonging to this subset and groups GX, Y, Z during the subfield TY, Z.
